Not Happening
I wanted to give you all a quick update. My parents were unable to close on their new house yesterday as scheduled because of water issues in the finished basement. It's quite long, confusing, and uncertain where that will put us. We don't have a reason (or rather, they keep bs-ing us with one) as to why there is water in the basement and how it's going to be resolved. The padding under the carpet was found soaked. I'll try and update you all once I find out more solid details.
