Today I made a cardinal sin.
I decide to cancel a trip to LA to see one of my favorite shows, which is rarely produced. When I learned last year that Musical Theatre Guild was going to perform "The Fix" in June 2008, I wrote that I would be definitely going no matter what.
And I did made flight reservations in January. But I'm disappointing myself for canceling it. Well it is one night only performance on Monday night, so I have to stay overnight in L.A. and it's getting expensive (hotel, rental car, flights).
Also I have decided to go to Seattle in September to see Shrek (plus other shows), and although this one is a weekend trip, it may be not as expensive as a weekday L.A. trip as I can use buses from the airport to the downtown.
ALSO (LOL), I've decided to make a day trip to L.A. in September to see "9 to 5" a world premiere musical as Southwest had 15% off promotion.
Right after I made a reservation to L.A. in September, I noticed the article about JLY in Hollywood Bowl Les Mis concert. I'm not a fan of him but I AM a fan of Stokes, and I was contemplating going when the cast was announced. But most likely I won't go. Good thing Les Mis isn't my fav musical (LOL). Although I'm really sad that I haven't seen him in a show for ages, the would-be chaos at the venue really turns me off too.
