Hello Ladies and Gentlemen. Here is a quick update I guess. It was good to see some of you this last weekend. Now that I am back down here I have just been chillin. Hanging out with Tina and Cody really. Yesterday and today, I have been spending time with my buddy Jason. He is that guy that I told you about who does beats and stuff and is looking to get into the christian hip hop business. Last night I went over to his house and we were listening to some stuff that he did, I did some rapping and we were just chilling. Then I went over there again this afternoon and we laid something down. I put down the first verse to this song that we are making. Then I went back over there after work and he did the second verse and I did the last verse. The beat is pretty tight. He does a really good job on them. It was cool because the two verses that I did were all original right there. He just told me what he wanted the song to be about and I just dropped like 30 lines. It is weird to do recording and see all that goes into it. After that we listened to some Jurassic 5 and decided that we should do kind of a fun song. I pulled out some old stuff of mine and he pulled up an old beat that he did. And I did like a 90 second verse. We decided that for that would be good and he converted it to mp3 and I put it on iPod. So that is pretty cool. I am heading down to Mexico on Thursday to build houses with a local church. We will be gone for 5 days. It should be pretty good and it is free to me since I am a leader. After I get back I will for sure be over at Jason's again. And then on another note. I think that I am going to start listening to some secular music again. I feel like I have gotten to the point where if I let some of it back into my life and my ears without letting it take over me. I am not even going to listen to a lot of the stuff that I was. I am just going to listen to the stuff that I really like and isn't too bad as far as negative messages and language go. I'm going to keep praying about it though to make sure that God is okay with this. I guess that I had more to talk about then I thought. I will catch you all later. PEACE.
