Generally, on LiveJournal you'll read a bunch of "I'm Thankful For..." posts in November. As we start a new year I'd like to say Thank you...

Thank you for...the University of Alabama for not hiring Glen Mason. Not that I ever thought that they would, well, thank you anyway.
Thank you for...the University of Minnesota for firing Dan Monson and Glen Mason. Now jonnymachinegun's journal won't be so morbid.

Thank you for...speaking of which, God for making me smart enough not to be like this crazy bitch! I've played my fair share of drinking games. I don't think doing shots of Brandy married with hits from a blunt on every wrong answer of Trivial Pursuit is recommended. (Speaking of this story...is it awesome reporting...or entirely too much that they actually had to explain what a "blunt" was...and that they commented on which playing piece color she was?)
Thank you for...the top 5 ranking for St. Cloud State University Men's Hockey team! After another weekend split in the Vermont Cup, the Huskies gained the #5 spot in the country. Things are looking good. People are even starting to notice like...
Thank you for...Patrick Reusse? Gopher shrill for the Minneapolis Star Tribune lists some interesting sports stories for the upcoming year. #9 is the most interesting thing on that list, in my opinion.

and finally, thank you for... all of your advice on the tipping! The bill was $18.90. We rounded to nearest dollar and added 1. Making it $20. *shrug* Also, thanks to drewskit who sent us a resounding "FUCK NO" text message in response to the question.
