This year I went to fewer concerts but instead saw more musicals. On Saturday, I enjoyed the modern hit "Jersey Boys". Basing a show on the lives of an iconic band ensure that at least the music will be a highlight. "American Idiot" uses Green Day music but isn't about the band itself. Coincidentally, this weekend was full of song and dance. First, I dragged kyaathecatlord from his solitude to go see "Muppets Most Wanted". I still maintain a nostalgic childhood enjoyment for the Muppets and the movies leave me grinning and happy inside. It's good wholesome fun with catchy, witty songs.
