Velvet Hills

A sprawling grove of treasure
Falls at your feet
Rolling alongside rows of cashews
And spiraling waves of purple
The cows are grazing on the west
Bouncing and tumbling after their shadows
A cart comes spinning on by and by
Packed full of exquisite wonders
A plethora of fiery lollipops and pineapple fireworks

A pleasant face turns about suddenly
The leprechaun smiles, nods, and says
“Welcome to the place where you are”
And he runs off quick as he came
Off to see the dolphins swimming in the stars

A tear fall from your eye
But your grin is as big as the moon
A sweet ladybug grabs your attention
She sits atop a ball of yellow water
And flies off in into a sunflower

“What is this place?” you cry out
And the bubbly clouds whisper
“Welcome to the place where you are”
