SPN 6x19 - I have no idea what the title is

I loved this episode. And I'm highly amused that not only am I loving it, but fellow people who have been disappointed in the last two or three seasons share my feelings. I honestly think Castiel is the major issue. It's NOT that I want to see him turn evil or that I want him out of the way or at odds with the boys. I think the issue is that people who tend to love Castiel more than the other characters can't see past what's going on with him. It's understandable, but I find it interesting and I don't blame them. I mean, if they turned Bobby evil? Well, I think that would be less believable and that's why I love him, but if they smoked some crack and decided to even hint at it, I'd share the same feelings.

GUSH TIME. First of all, I did love the hilarious Dean/Castiel hints like that 'Cas, get out of my ass!" It has a nice ring to it, and I'm certain someone is going to put that on a shirt. I like how Sam notices that Dean hurt Castiel's feelings and points it out to him, and then they made up for my complaint of Dean being an ass the last episode with the ending, Dean unable to believe Castiel would lie or turn against them. In all truth, I don't think they're going to make Castiel evil. Hell, I never truly believed they'd turn Sam evil as endgame, but damn did they push it and I bet they'll do the same thing here. We don't know the whole story, after all.

CROWLEY IS ALIVE. Thank you, show. Now get to work on bringing Ellen back again. And John. Come on, there's a whole 'nother season to bring favorites back.

I loved that they killed Eve. I didn't want her as a big bad and everyone's right about her being an awesome red herring. I didn't expect her to die just yet and it was a pleasant surprise. Wearing Mary was very boring and proves my #5 letdown, namely that the more and more they use Mary, the less and less I give a hot fuck.

I was mad that Castiel killed Lenore, perhaps madder because Sam and Dean didn't berate him enough for it. They were off to try and kill Eve. They could have said okay, wait here in this cage until we see if we can kill her, and if we don't, we'll kill you then. She doesn't even get a chance and she could have been helped. I'm just sick and tired of them bringing good characters back just to kill them. Let's not even get into the fact that females always die. It's getting fucking ridiculous.

But I loved those two boys and how Sam and Dean just had to save them. Yeah, they turned out to be evil, but that's the burden of having morals and being a hero. You try to do the right thing because it means you have a soul and that's important. Sam forgot that for a while, which made me hate him, but now he's come back around. Plus they were totally fooled because it was a protective older brother and a scared younger brother cuddling in the backseat. I love subtle brother moments!

So in short (this got long) I think this episode kicked this season up a few notches because it was surprising, engaging, and had a few laughs. I will never think of Jefferson Starship the same way again.

spn, everything went better than expected, spn reaction
