For some reason I've been reading Pinto fic, and I am enjoying it quite well. My mind was already there, so I asked myself, what would happen if I were to casually check ontd_startrek one day and the first post had the title "Pinto: IT'S REAL" and an actual picture of Zach and Chris making out?

I ALMOST HAD A HEART ATTACH WHILE SCANNING MY F-LIST AND SEEING ontd_startrek and the bit with the title saying "Pinto: IT'S REAL" and "an actual picture of Zach and Chris making out" in the same sentence. I scrolled back SO FAST and clicked so hard I'm surprise my mouse still works. I also think I went through points 1 to 10 in about a second. XD

Pinto sucked me back into RPS after I've been fandom "clean" for a few years. IT'S THE POWER OF THE PINTO AND WE CANNOT RESIST IT.
I don't read that much, though; but here's some of my faves:

perdiccas's Perfect in a sickening sort of way, it's a Zach-centric WIP that deals with Zach's understanding and coming to terms with his sexual preferences. It deals with rape fantasies and consensual rape roleplay but it's not a smut-fest (as I shamefully thought it would be *shamed*) It's a wonderfully lucid exploration of Zach's psyche; it's thoughtful and so real it's amazing. I've been waiting for the second and last part for a while but I know it'll be worth it once it's posted. It's jaw-dropping fantastic.

And then greenappleseas is writing an AU where Chris is a 'lot lizard'; a prostitute working a truck lot. And I'm so in ♥ with it. :3 It's called Trick and it's amazing.

I also love pretty much everything and anything Ewinfic writes. No, really, I don't even know where to begin with that. I'm sure I'd love her shopping list if decided to post it for any reason; IDEK.

OMG, I LOL'D SO HARD AT THIS. SORRY TO GET YOUR HOPES UP BB!

greenappleseas has been talking about her Pinto fic, so now I know what she's talking about and yep, hooker fic reading ahoy!

I shall have to see what else she writes. I have a bad habit of reading just one thing an author has written and completely not checking to see what other wonders this person may have written. For shame!
