hi folks,
well... it looks like i'll be here at least till tomorrow, sat. my numbers are still not quite right.
i am getting the most awesome care here the cleveland clinic is awesome.
being here has given me time to reflect on so many things.
for one cleveland. i've said it before and i'll say it again, cleveland actually greater cleveland and i'll extend that to northeast ohio, is the greatest place in the world to be.
for example, where i'm at now, the clinic has people from all over the world coming here, here, where i live. why? because eleven years in a row now it has been rated the #1 hospital in the world for heart care and more. and i'm lucky enough to be just a few miles away.
other reasons, i've stated in the past, music, any kind you like, the cleveland orchestra, blues, rock, swing, alt music, any music style you can think of is here, or comes here in concerts.
food, any kind you can image, culture, museums, arts, the cleveland institute of music, the colleges of case western, baldwin wallace, even cleveland sate and tri-c all great schools. the cleveland public school system needs work, but that's more about parents and society in general.
and festivals, fairs, the cuyahoga county fair, amusement parks, cedar point, geauga lake, all things people travel far and wide to come to.
lake erie, the valley and all of our local parks are just awesome. any kind of activity you want you can find here.
and the lake means we'll never be short of water.
the rock and roll hall of fame etc.
job opportunities, better than most places.
even our public transportation, is so much better than most places. a call to rta and you can get there from here.
i'm 52, my health is poor, i'm unemployed and may be on disability until my health improves and even for that, there is no place better to be.
i love cleveland.
