Back from my conference now, having failed to win any of the amazing prizes up for grabs in the gala dinner bingo (including Bose stereo, several i-pod touches, about 6 Nintendo Wiis, Aston Martin experience day etc etc) - makes note to get to more of these events. I suspect the good behaviour rather dampened the enjoyment.... Is entertainment during dinner designed to obviate the need to talk to your colleagues/boss?

What's in the final parcel?

And don't talk to me about husbands and their attitude to the whole LJ/fanfic thing. Bleh.

Had pretty good time actually, especially as found kind man in the casino after dinner prepared to give me chips as fast as I lost them at blackjack. I like the idea of presenting myself through an avatar. I can choose to be anything I want. LJ is a step towards it. If I ever create any sock puppets, it'll be even nearer...

within the next 20 years or so we could be actually growing managers as bacterial cultures
Should send this one to Scott Adams.

This could be new direction for the brewing industry I believe.
Only if the government doesn't dcide to slap duty on. Few enough people want managers anyway. Tax them for it, no one would buy, and we'd all be much happier - except for the brewers, but as they are used to being miserable it won't make much difference. They could always use the technology to make disposable national football managers. Oh - they already do that, don't they?

If you like I can get the children to make you a sock puppet and then we'll photograph it.
