More ducky house stuff...
Met with the new mortgage people this morning.
ERA would not approve a second appraisal even though the first did not use legal comparable properties. I fought and fought with them and they would not do anything. I guess they didn't want to service my loan. *shrug*
The new mortgage company. They are great. They have a better appraiser that knows wtf he's doing. I signed all the pre-closing papers and everything was explained to me in detail. My rate's a little bit higher than it was with ERA, but at least I can get the money I need to be able to afford the house. Everything should be set and ready for closing by the middle of next week even though my closing isn't until the 29th. I love it. A huge load has been lifted from my shoulders.
