but some of you have been asking - this is the only one I can find on my machine at work right now. (if you check the URL of the image, you'll find others in the same source directory, but they are all from when she was first born)



That was taken on her first birthday. Who'd have thunk that it was possible to get that excited over a scrap of wrapping paper !

I'll bung some others up shortly.

No update yet on her illness. It's certainly nothing too nasty, so I'm very sure she'll fight it off and pull through. Apparently she was the life and soul of the hospital ward yesterday, and kept the staff amused for hours, so she was back to her normal self. They just kept her in overnight to monitor her breathing and blood oxygen saturation levels. I fully expect they'll let her home this morning.

UPDATE - still not home. They had to resort to giving her some oxygen overnight, I think just as a precaution because her sats levels kept dropping a little too far and setting their alarms off. It seems they are just being doubly careful - apparently these sorts of problems can become complications like pneumonia, so they want to err on the safe side.
