I might have said this before, but I like Gordon Brown. He's got an air of honesty and conviction that rarely follows politicians.
In his speech outside 10 Downing street, he outlined the need for change in the NHS in education and in politics. He's already cut the number of spin doctors from 8 to 1 and that's a good step forward. More substance, less style is the order of the day.
Now he has to form his government as he sees fit, as his Queen has requested, and I though I'd ask you who you would choose if you were in the same place?
The critical post would be the Treasury, he badly wants his good work in that office to continue. If you have a good economy, then everything is that little bit easier to manage. Indeed, I think that will be his crowning achievement in office, regardless of what may come from his Prime Ministerial post.
