I know I've said it in the other chapters, but I like how you include so many everyday, mundane detail in this. The stuff on the floor in Estelle's apartment, the little conflicts between everyone, the sense of day-to-day survival, dealing with the implications of "killing" someone you used to know... It keeps something that's gory and probably a widespread catastrophe at this point very grounded in the characters. (Though I guess if they still have running water and electricity, things can't have gotten TOO out of hand yet.)

“For God's sake, Matt!” Mohinder chided from a few steps back. “We don't know how they operate yet. If you alert one, maybe others will follow suit.”

MOHINDER: "I mean really, Matt, have you even READ the Zombie Survival Guide?"

Poor Molly always gets beat up in this fic. I'm so terrible! I felt like she needed a little something to pick up her spirits, considering what has happened to her. I think hearing those words can keep her going for a while.

A dear lord Molly, you have to worst luck of any person I know... the scene with Miss Gerber was so horrible especially- there is nothing creepier than zombie!kids. I love Mohinder in this, he's such a strong person, and has that lovely sarcastic sense of humor even Kring and Co forget he has sometimes. Ooh, I foresee tension between Holly and Matt, when his little mid trick comes to light...

Jiminy Jillikers! I don't know what went wrong with LJ/my e-mail, but I was never notified that people commented on this chapter of the fic. UNACCEPTABLE.

Can I just say that I LOVED writing that Miss Gerber scene? Sometimes when you write certain sequences you get SO into them that the world around you disappears and your stuck in the cafeteria watching two teachers having sex while zombie kids knock down their barricade. And then your mom taps you on the shoulder and you hit the ceiling.

I just finished. And I'm so hooked.

Really, awesome work. I also like what barhaven points, all the little details of everyday life in the middle of this fight for survival. And how you never forget they're a family, and they're together in this.

It breaks my heart that Molly has to see all that stuff... but it's awesome imagery for the fic! This scares me. That's new in my lj experience *zoilen green cookies or you*.

Also... Mo. Will he get his "gaining Molly's trust" moment? Cause I'd love to see that.
