When it happens, it's gonna be gorier than you think...
So it would appear that M. Night Shyamalan's new movie, The Happening, is also the first of his movies to be rated R! I just watched the red-band trailer, and whooo boy! R-rated INDEED!
I've really liked most of his movies (Lady in the Water was TERRIBLE but I loved the others). I'm particularly pleased that this one looks like it's gonna be pretty hard-core. If only because that'll cut down somewhat on the chucklehead factor since those noisy kids won't be in there whooping it up.
Also... it comes out on Friday the 13th. Which is ALSO the day that all the HUGE DEADLINES at Pazio come to a head for Gen Con. Which means that by close of work at 5:00 PM that day... I'll be caught up with work stuff for the first time in about 14 months. Which is pretty exciting.
I think I'll celebrate by watching something gory happen!
