The Last Straw
So... it would appear that my apartment complex has decided to do away with assigned parking. Parking is now on a first-come, first-serve basis. Which pretty much sucks for me, since my work schedule has me coming home several hours after Joe Punchcard. The last 3 days I've had to park out on the street, basically, which makes for hauling groceries back home a bit more annoying, and makes for early morning trudges through rain.
Which makes it The Last Straw.
In other words, I am officially looking to move. Which sucks, because I HATE moving. It's a pain, both mentally and physically. Thing is, though... I simply don't have TIME right now to do a move; work deadlines are more harrowing than ever, and taking what would pretty much be a week off to clean, pack, move, and unpack is simply not something I wanna do or spend my vacation time doing.
If I'm lucky... I'll get used to the stupid unassigned parking, or I'll bite the bullet and pay the monthly fee to get a covered carport.
