(no subject)
my last entry was kind of an end-of-summer wrap up. boy was i wrong. my summer is not nearly over.
friday, down in manasquan, i started to get sick at the motel. i did the show that night but i didn't get any sleep and felt so miserable. andy took me to the hospital on saturday and they said i had strep. i was contagious and exhausted so i couldnt do the show that night. i also couldnt compete in our cast's broadway idol that we had auditioned for and i was chosen as a finalist. without anymore sleep and not able to eat, i realized that sunday morning, i would have to go home. we had our final show that day, but there was no way i could do it. i had to say goodbye to my cast before the final show and miss out on that experience as well as the cast party. so heartbreaking.
i came home and was still not able to sleep or eat due to extremely swollen glands, so this morning my mom took me to my physician. sure enough, i was diagnosed with mono. MONO! now. these 3 weeks were supposed to be filled with work, helping at onstage, hanging out with people, getting ready for school, and now instead they will be spent in bed! until the medicine kicks in (hopefully tmrw) i still cannot swallow enough to eat or sleep. im so miserable.
now i can't work this week, i can't go to broadway in the park with b-tan, and i cant go to poughkeepsie this weekend for the wagner reunion i half-planned. ugggggggghhh
i miss everyone so much! hopefully i will get better soon and be able to go out again!!!!
