Update to car accident
Turns out the Secretary of State is willing to let me take a $60 driver class to keep the points and ticket off my record and being given to my insurance. Might help, but I think my insurance already knows about the accident, so who knows if it will help.
Also, after the accident there's been a leak but it has turned out to be a power steering hose, rather than the steering rack itself, it seems. Hoses are cheaper to fix than racks.
