Blarg, weekend and renaissance shirt
I only have myself to blame.
I waited till the last minute, AGAIN, to look for a better Renaissance shirt. One that's not black like my current one and makes me boiling hot on days like tomorrow's probably going to be.
I kept on thinking to myself "oh I have plenty of time." And then last week with all the colleges I went to, and around last weekend when I had to clean for the bedbug inspection, I didn't have a lot of time to look at any. Although I tried, and I did look at a few places.
Didn't help that I had a max budget of $50 I didn't want to breach, and the nicest one I saw was a little more than $50. Also didn't help that I want a purple or blue shirt and most period shirts come in three colors: Black, white, and natural (light tan).
I'll have to see if the fair tomorrow has one I can buy there.
But tomorrow I'm going to the Renaissance Fair with some other people. And tonight is another Germanfest, with crappy cafe German food, and German lager. And bad German polka music... it would be better if they'd play some good music, like a certain Korean song.
Oh, as for last weekend everything went fine... Mother and I went to the local town fair on Friday, I went to anime club on Saturday, and Sunday was rockets. Most of my rockets flew just fine (the X-wing rocket flopped a little) after I did a last minute application of custom decals on my biggest one. I lost the tiny one after its maiden flight. And the camera one lost its mirror, but I was retiring it anyway.
