Well I finally received a paycheck, when I've been at less than $100 (minus pending rent check) in my checking for over a week. Penny pinching on everything except gas, which I can't do, since I have to pay around $40 a tank-full, and do that 2, sometimes 3 times a week (in fact the bank shows 4 fuel-ups in the last 10 days). I even took out $100 from savings to make sure my rent check didn't bounce.
At least they dropped my student loans down to less than $100 a week, and I just sent my last IRS check out today for $90.
And of course, the arguments at work. About stuff being stolen, use of company supplies.
We all have work spaces, tables with names on them, and I store stuff underneath, including baskets I use to carry papers. The baskets are given to me by work. And they've been coming up missing. So I nearly flipped out, and stuck a sign that said "don't touch my fucking shit" on my table, which disappeared the next day (hah). A lot of people said that the baskets are technically the company's. Yea, I know, but if they take off with that crap, then they might steal other stuff as well that I bought (and I have seen small things vanish from time to time). It's principle. There is a place to get extra baskets. Please leave my space alone.
Ironically after my outburst baskets keep appearing under my table now. I don't need them anymore. And I'm not going to yell at whoever did it.
And then I argued with my boss over twine.
There's a box of twine for tying up bundles. I needed a couple feet, but when I went to get some, the boss asked me what I needed it for and started complaining about me using company supplies that cost money. I haven't used the twine before, and out of the hundreds, thousands of feet they use a year, I'd be only using a few feet. So the amount I'd be using would be insignificant compared to the amount everyone else use, yet he yells at me. I think I even offered a dollar for it, even though the amount I'd use would be worth pennies at best.
Of all the things to complain about... I think this is proof he has it out for me.
