Update

The weather's been a little crazy lately. Over Memorial Day weekend it went up to a record high of 95F for Monday.

I had asked if my mother wanted to go to a zoo Monday we hadn't gone to in a while, and she was afraid because there was a small chance of a spontaneous thunderstorm (always a risk on hot days). I finally encouraged her to go. And it was nice, although one of my favorite exhibits, the Meercats, only had one meercat and he ran away after a short bit. And we left a little after 5 not realizing that the gates might close at 5 but it stayed open until 6. We missed the reptile/amphibian building and the primate building, but I was exhausted and hot anyway.

I recieved a letter from the IRS saying I owed only $90. Seems I had put my refund from 2010 into 2011's taxes.

That's a relief as I'm broke. I still can't figure out where all my money is going, but I blame car expenses and student loans.

Speaking of loans, I sent requests for both student loan servicers to lower their monthly rate before I become homeless. Sallie Mae wanted paycheck copies. This should end well.

And I got a renewal for food stamps, where I'm getting $15 a month for food. This time I sent them EVERYTHING, gas expense, loan bills, phone bills, because they seem to think I make more than I do because my mileage reimbursement is part of my check and they count that as well for some retarded reason. If they don't increase my amount I may appeal and take them to court.

Also, auto expenses. I found out why my car overheats on hot days. I did an amazing job of testing the fan circuits and finding a resistor on one of the cooling fans is fried. The part costs $40, though. :(

And in closing, a couple months ago Michigan balanced their budget and had a $400M surplus. After having to slash spending to schools and stuff. Send some of that money my way!
