About the past year
I said I was going to put up lists of the best and worst and newsworthy items of 2011 like I always do, and I've been a bit busy lately to do it, and I'll try to start this week sometime.
But here's something about last year: How much money I spent.
For auto repair, I spent $4600 last year. That's more than I've ever spent ever, and that includes 2 sets of 4 tires, a clutch job, and other stuff.
For gas, I spent about $4300. That's more than I've ever spent as well.
For rent, I spent $4000 ($340 x 12).
I made about $17k and I'm still wondering where the rest of that went, but with $13k alone in car and rent, probably for everything else, like groceries and lunch!
