Here's another person I wouldn't mind seeing a military team cap in the head like Counter Strike.
Terry Jones, the guy who was going to burn a Koran/Qur'an on 9/11 over the Mosque near ground zero (which is hopefully still being built despite the racist people protesting over it), did burn a Koran, near the beginning of April, after a mock trial of it, and whether it was violent or not. Saying the Koran is violent and ignoring how violent the Bible gets is just stupid.
In any case he did burn the Koran, and there was violence in Afghanistan because of it. I do believe I posted an entry about it here.
He was back in the news again, and closer to here than I wanted. Dearborn, a suburb of Detroit, has the largest population of Muslims and Arabs in the US. Most of them are refugees of dictatorships, and many are Christian Arabs. This doesn't phase him as Jones and his horrible mustache were about to protest in front of a mosque here on Good Friday.
The courts demanded a peace bond of exactly ONE DOLLAH. He refused and was jailed and didn't protests. He then came back last Friday and protested in front of Dearborn City Hall. There was a small counter protest, but it was largely uneventful and most people ignored it. Like most neocons, he was packing heat, and he almost shot himself in the foot one day, sadly missing his skull.
Here's another guy I wish would get a bullet to the head. However, I am divided about the whole peace bond thing. I do believe in freedom of speech, even for this nutter. However, there are some small limits to freedom of speech in the USA, such as against slander, or not yelling "I HAVE A BOMB" in a mall. They are there to protect property and people. So his protests could be considered hate speech, and there could possibly be restrictions on it. Especially if it could incite violence, like his Koran burning.
