Starting a crappy job (literally!)

Well, despite all my troubles lately, I have found a job.

It's not the best job though. It's shoveling shit at a dairy farm.

Basically for a little more than minimum wage I'll be doing all the dirty work that the farmers that employ me don't want to do. Since this is a dairy farm and there's hundreds of cows that are milked on an almost daily basis, that means there's hundreds of pounds of steaming cow paddies for me to clean up.

I'm not going to complain though, it's hard and honest, real American work, and I'll get paid fairly for all my hard work. If an AIG employee can get paid $750k-a-year for his "hard" work, then I deserve to get paid $15000 a year for mine. And hey, my life is already shitty, now I can say it literally IS shitty.

It's probably a good thing I've found this full time job. My car started smoking last night, apparently the transmission that I've been having trouble with lately decided to catch on fire. Luckily a police officer spotted me, and fire crews were able to put out the car. For now I won't have a vehicle until I can replace the transmission and a few other parts under the hood.

Also, I'm probably going to be evicted in less than a week. But with this new job, I'm not worried about that because I'll soon have enough money to find a new apartment. I'll just have to find a place to crash for a short while.

I'll get through this shit eventually.

Also, happy April Fools day!!!

apartment, car, shit, job
