Despite how much Zoe had enjoyed her break, and the time she'd gotten to spend with Grace, she was very glad to be back at work - not as glad as she would have been if her office wasn't a mess though. Oh, like there was any way Zoe could ignore that.

"Put some clothes on!" she yelled the next time Seely came around. But he might have heard her laughing as well.

Seely retrieved his pants from the end of the hall and came back towards the door, grinning. "Welcome back, Principal Washburn."

Zoe smirked. "Thank you. Now I know that I'm really back."

Dean knocked on the doorframe. "Hey," he said. "Figured I'd come by to see if you needed any help and I'm thinking that's a big yes."

Zoe turned and grinned at Dean. "Oh, I am so glad to see you. I need someone with some upper body strength."

Dean grinned and dropped into a muscle man pose. "That's me. What do you need?"

"Can you help me move my desk over to this side of the office?" she said, pointing towards the right. "If I can get everything over here, then I can fix the other side of the office without things in my way."

River rarely visited Zoe, but this seemed like an occasion that deserved it. She peeked into the office. "You're back," she said, beaming.

"Yes, finally," Zoe said. "I got your gift. Grace loves it."

River laughed, clearly pleased at that. "Good to have you back," she said, turning to leave.

"And it's good to see you again," Zoe replied, still smiling as River left.

When Isabel thought about it, the biggest thing she remembered from her visit to Umbridge's office wasn't the annoying pain in her eyes. It was all the pink. Which honestly caused a pain all of it's own. Somehow, she didn't think that was really Principal Washburn's style, so Monday morning she stopped by to see if she could help.

"Good morning ma'am."

Zoe glanced up and gave Isabel a friendly smile. "Good morning. And for once, I actually mean that as more than just a pleasantry."

"I get that. Something about ding dong the witch is locked up safely where she can't hurt anyone again?" Isabel smiled. "Although that doesn't quite have the same ring to it as the original version."

"We do like to have our own version of things around here though, don't we?" Zoe said, laughing softly to herself.

"You know," Aly said, leaning against the doorframe. "I think the sheriff has another few boxes of kitten plates and other assorted goods. If we need a ceremonial burning of some sort." She grinned. "Welcome back, ma'am."

"A good bonfire might be just what we need," Zoe remarked. "And thank you. It's good to be back. How are you doing? Are you feeling better?"

"Perfectly fine," Aly said dismissively. Pay no attention to the fact she was still moving a bit awkwardly and couldn't laugh unless she wanted lots of pain. "How's Grace? I almost expected to see her today."

"She's fine. She's with John today," Zoe said, sounding a little sad about that. "Once the office isn't a mess anymore, I'll be bringing her in with me more often."
