Zoe's Office - May 27

When Zoe came into her office Saturday afternoon, she was expecting to find things exactly as she left them, with a possible new stack of paperwork sitting on her desk.

What she wasn't expecting to find was underwear of various sizes and colors scattered about the place

Cameron knocked on the doorframe trying not to look too embarassed or too much in a hurry even if he was both.

"Ah, Mr. Mitchell," Zoe said, smirking. "Have you come to get something?"

That whole not looking embarassed thing was not working as he could feel even the tips of his ears heat up.

"I believe so, ma'am," he said as he recognised some of the boxers spread around the office.

At least he seemed properly embarrassed, Zoe noted.

"Do you have any idea how your personal items came to be in my office?" she asked.

When Peter arrived at Zoe's office, he bowed deeply. Not deeply enough to hide his embarassment, but deeply.

Zoe did her best to not laugh. "Good afternoon. Have you found that you're missing something?"

Peter cleared his throat. "Erm, yes, my lady, and to give my apologies for your being subjected to this." He gestured to encompass the situation.

"There's nothing here I haven't seen before; I was married once," she replied reassuringly. "Although I have to say, some of the designs are rather entertaining. Do you have any idea how these ended up here?"

Peter was somewhat amazed that he hadn't had to come to the Principal's Office before this. And even this time, he wasn't here because of anything he did... Well, not directly, at least. Maybe the transfer to Fandom really had helped him out.

Peter knocked on the door.

"Come in," Zoe said, taking careful note of the fact that it was another Stickbug coming into her office. "Are you the rightful owner of any of my office decorations?"

"Err, yes, ma'am," Peter said. "I'm sorry for both of our sakes that this happened. Um, can I just, err, take mine, or is there some sort of bizarre paperwork...? I hope there's no paperwork. Please say there's no paperwork needed to get my underwear back."

Zoe glanced at Peter with a smirk. "Hmmm, paperwork. Now that's a smart idea. I should have thought of creating some sort of form that would enable me to hold your underwear hostage. Because clearly, I'm enjoying having it all around that much."

John totally doesn't show up at Principal Washburn's office. Nope, he doesn't.

Someone else does, in a cunning disguise.

A light snort escaped before Zoe managed to regain her composure fully. "Hi there. Can I help you?" she asked.

Pitching his voice higher and adopting a southern twang, she says, "Hi there. I've come to pick up something for a friend of mine. He says they're here and, since I was in the neighborhood, I offered to pick those things up. Would that be okay?"

Zoe had to snicker at the accent. "Sure, as long as you know what it is you're looking for. May I ask who your friend is?"

Tyler tapped on the doorframe.

"Good-afternoon-Principal-Washburn," he said. "I think the grey shorts are mine."

Well, this was getting to be a regular Stickbug invasion. "Well, thank you for coming to retrieve them. Lovely as they are, I don't think they're my style."

Do not think about the principal in your underwear, Tyler willed himself. And, as the mental image changed; Or, in her underwear. Avoid the thought of underwear.

"Thanks," Tyler said, and plucked his briefs from across the top of the curtainrod. "I'llbegoingnowbye."

Zoe was good and did not use her underwear icon was beginning to enjoy herself more than she would have thought just a little while earlier. "You're welcome. And try to hold onto them from now on."
