Empty is What I Feel
Well, I’ll start my update starting from Wednesday at Marching Band.
So basically it sucked, I’m really not having fun at all and it doesn’t help when Drum-line doesn’t have their shit together, actually it’s just Mike and Steve. No offense but just because you don’t like someone doesn’t mean you can fuck the rest of the band up. So yeah we ended up being there 20 minutes past 4:30 because Bryan and Cramer took forever to make their decision. Congrats to Jessica and Jana for Asst. Drum Major and Asst. Color Guard Captain.
I forgot to mention that I did awesome on my solo at the concert on Tuesday night. A lot of people were saying I did great and that it sounded really good so that made me really happy.
Thursday was a sad sad day. The seniors left and it was really quite heartbreaking. I teared up and probably cried a few tears. It was just so sad to see them leave. I gave the four seniors that meant the most to me letters and I really think I got my point across to them.
Stacy- You always made me laugh and you were my stool buddy and in band and I’ll never forget you.
Nathan- You’re a role model for me and I have you to thank for helping to see that I want to do music when I grow up.
Ryan- I look up to as a brother and I will always sincerely miss my one and only brother.
Bryan- You’re one amazing saxophone player and I admire your talent and want to be able to play as musically as you do and will never forget you.
So yeah it was really a bittersweet moment for me because the four seniors I look up to most left me. Band was just blah that day without them and it will take time for me to get past this. While everybody was out at prom or doing something fun Thursday night I did 3 hours of yard-work and what not. So yeah, that was a load of fun. I feel like a lot of people are leaving me in my life and I really miss them all and isn’t just the seniors.
Update on road test, it’s next Wednesday. That is the day of truth and I probably get my license next week so yippy. My birthday is next Thursday. My Mom just told me today that I will probably be able to have a party next Friday outside but I have to wait and see what the weather will be like, if it looks like it’s going to rain then my parties off. I’ll let all of you know what’s going on in the next few days.
Today I got a haircut and then Collin came over for a couple of hours to work on our gay-ass science project. I hate this project so much. Tonight I’m going to see Star Wars again but with my Mom. What can I say; I’m a Mama’s boy.
