Summary: Her dad had to stop disguising himself as Wild Tiger. It was embarrassing, really.
"Dad, we need to talk."
Panic shot through Kotetsu. He straightened his back, nervously looking at her. What was it she wanted to talk about? Was it school? Was it a boyfriend? Or--Or was she already old enough to ask those questions? No no, no way. It had to be something else. Furiously wracking his brain, he forgot to listen to Kaede.
"- do what you want. It's fine if you like him -"
Him?
Was she talking about Bunny? Despite being a righteous prick, the kid was okay. Wait, if that was the case, how could she know that he was his partner?
"- but could you please, please, stop it? It's embarrassing -"
Panic settled in once more. Kaede had talked without interruption since she had started the conversation.
And he hadn't listened at all.
Had she discovered that he was a hero? That he was--?
"So, Dad, stop dressing like Wild Tiger. I have a reputation to maintain, you know."
Only registering the words 'Wild Tiger', Kotetsu started flailing and struggled to come up with a good explanation-
"OKAY, I ADMIT IT I'M WILD TIGER! Sorry I didn't tell you sooner but I thought it was best if you -"
When Kotetsu finally saw his daughter's blank expression, he knew he had said too much. Way too much. Having spoken only two sentences, it was quite a feat.
He got really worried when she didn't say anything and stayed where she was standing, not budging an inch.
Distressed, he approached her intending to make her react in some way. She never moved her gaze to follow him coming towards her and kept staring straight ahead, face white and washed of all emotions but for slightly widened eyes.
Kotetsu scratched his head. Was it that difficult to accept?
"Dad."
Still not looking at him, the only thing moving was her lips.
"I'm sorry but..."
Her head slowly turned to face her father, countenance unchanged. Eyes lowered briefly, eyebrows furrowing lightly. She looked up and -
"You need to get your head checked."
