this week....
so i updating right now mainly becuz im bored out of my mind, and i have nothing better to do becuz no one on the planet is having a new years party this year...this was my week
Monday -
So my dad signed me up for this hockey mini-camp over break just to like get on the ice if nothing else. so i was supposed to be skating with girls from like 10-15. well i got there and there were like 5 year old boys there, and i was like OMG... so i ended up "skating" if u would even call it that with like kids at least 7 years younger than me. so yeah, i met mikah, shes really cool and dana was a coach so at least i had someone to laugh at. the only other downside was that this was at like 8:30 in the morning in Dover so i had to get up at 7:15 everyday. The first day was okay, i needed to get my skates sharpened, still havent done that by the way, and so i was falling everywhere. so yeah, during the drills dana had to teach this little cute kid, jacob how to do the drill so i ended up telling the kids when to go and stuff so i rarely had to do the drill myself. we did this thing where Andrew (other coach), who is not very bad looking :-P made the little kids practice stopping by having them snow him. mikah went first and she got to about his knees and then i went, and got his neck, haha so funny, he got me back later though. then at the end, we scrimmaged and i was just so worried about killing a little kid that me and mikah we just playing with each other, and then we would skate it and then give it to a little kid. after that, i had to go across the street to get my new helmet fixed, the cage was too big. so the guy replaced it with a smaller one, and it now fits... then i went home took a shower and then took a nap for about an hour becuz i wanted to watch the Patriots game that started at 9... after that i dont remember what i did, after dinner i went up to my room and watched Rudy, becuz i had just gotten that DVD for christmas. i had never really watched it from the beginning, just from the end, if uve seen it the scene at the end where he plays. so i watched the whole thing and i was like balling my eyes out through the whole movie, i dont think ive ever seriously cried that hard my whole life, its such a good movie. after that, i watched part of the Patriots game, and then at 10 i watched the Gauntlet 2 becuz i love that show, and then after that i watched the rest of the Pats game... i really hope Tedy Bruschi is okay and he can play in the playoffs. after the game, at about 12:15 or 12:30 i went to bed, and i had to get up at 7:15 the next morning.
Tuesday -
So i woke up put some hockey clothes on, and then got into the car and fell asleep listening to Simple Plan until i got to Dover, when my dad woke me up. so i got into the lockeroom and saw that Randi was there!!! i was tired, but still happy cuz i havent seen her in a while. Randi used to play hockey for UNH a couple years ago, and she was my counselor at UNH camp a couple years ago, and i had only seen her about once a year when i went to UNH camp, or occasionally at UNH games... so anyway, mikah and i were late, big surprise, Monique showed up, that was the only day she actually did, and Monique is on the Berwick team with me, only shes JV. so we got on the ice, and Randi is yelling as usual, and then i think we did some skating drills and then did a relay race, Mikah's team cheated so really my team won. dana fell on her ass, haha so funny, randi took out a cone... all the while i was laughing my ass off...we scrimmaged again, and randi hit me a few times, and then we were done... not very exciting. so i got home and fell asleep on my bed for 3 and 1/2 hours so at about 4 i took a shower, then i ate dinner and then i watched another good movie, Friday Night Lights... then i dont know what i watched, but bones and house were re-runs so nothing good was on.
Wednesday -
Got up early again, decided to wear my mouth guard just so that i could chew on it like i always do. i had to chew on it becuz that was the only way that i could have possibly stayed awake. Mikah and i were late again, but only by like 5 minutes, which was like to closest to ontime that we got all week. randi had this brilliant idea to do a relay race that required you to basically spin around until u puke. so i always went against her so it would be fair. we started out having to spin 5 times around the cone and then we had to dive under a stick that was proped up by two cones, and so me and her went, i made it under, and she fell while she was spinning, and then took out the cones by like a mile. haha i was laughing so hard that i felt like i was gonna fall over and die... we ended up having to change it to spinning around ten times becuz the little kids werent getting dizzy enough and randi and i almost died... haha her explanation was that the little kids cant go as fast around in a circle as her or i could, so thats why we were about on the ice dead and they were barely dizzy. anyway after that we scrimmaged, and i was not really doing anything but fighting with Mikah, haha. i went home, took a shower, and then watched tv the rest of the day. once again there was nothing on, and i was very disappointed that one tree hill was a re-run, becuz i really want to see what happens next.
Thursday -
once again got up early, and brought gum this time so i could blow bubbles to keep myself occupied. Mikah and i were like only 8ish minutes late and randi had this brilliant idea to make us sprint suicides. so ya that was fun. then randi decided to try and teach the little kids how to "break out", that didnt work out so well... so i was talking to randi during like the whole drill, and she was telling me how she was telling her friends that there was this one little girl that was at the camp that would one day become the head of the theater club. she pointed her out to me, and i started laughing so hard, i dont think i stopped laughing until about 10 mintues later. so we were scrimmaging, and randi was so bored that she was playing, and she put her stick between my skates, and then pushed me down... OMG it hurt so incredibly bad, i felt like i broke my elbow, but i was laughing so hard at the sametime, becuz this like 5 year old zach, who is my buddy came up and like took randi out and she landed on top of me. hahaha i was laughing so hard, u know when u laugh so hard that your stomach hurts really bad and your like in pain, but u cant stop laughing, thats how hard randi and i were laughing... so anyway, i went home and iced my elbow and it hurt so incredibly bad that like i could barely bend it. i didnt wanna tell my parents becuz they would like have rushed me to the er, and i didnt need that, so i just kept my mouth shut...
Friday -
the last day of camp... Mikah and i decided that we were going to be on time today... haha that worked out well... we were listening to Dirty Little Secret the whole time we were supposed to be getting dressed, and then i had to find gum to chew, so our early really ended up being 15 mintues late haha. so yeah that was fun. we did this relay race where u had to throw your gloves into the net, and then later go and find them... my team won even though andrew cheated, and randi almost beat dana at the last second. so we did this shooting drill, during which randi yelled at me becuz i kept missing the net with my wrist shot, it was actually really funny becuz she was yelling at me and hers was missing too. so then in line Mikah goes "i wish i could shoot the puck as hard as you" and i reply "ill trade u, becuz u can hit the net", haha u kinda had to be there but it was really funny... and then randi and i started arguing becuz i had hit the crossbar and then she yelled at me to hit the net with my shot, and so we argued over if the posts were part of the net. she insisted they werent, but i want another opinion, im gonna ask everyone i know that plays hockey what they think. even though her and andrew said that the posts werent part of the net, i think they are. at the end we scrimmaged again, and i almost nailed randi with a wrist shot in the shin, haha that would have hurt so fricken bad, becuz my shots are hard, they are just unpredictable... even though i have a really accurate shot when i actually try.. dana and i had a competition, and i won. we put the lead posts that are used to keep the nets attached to the ice on the net, and each one of us had to hit them... she couldnt, but i could, so i won... so all in all the camp was okay, at least i was on the ice, and i was laughing almost the whole time...
Today was boring, i just sat around watching random movies and tv marathons... O i slept in until 1 that was fun, after waking up at 7:15 all week.... anyway, i gonna go finish marathons and shit, and people better comment, becuz for some reason no one ever comments... i have to go and negotiate the situation for tomorrow, becuz amanda's party is from 3-7 and the unh game is at 2 so im gonna find out if we can leave at 4:15 ish so that i can listen to the game on the computer... so im gonna go now...
