ASU!!! ASU!!! ASU!!! ASU!!! ASU!!!
Well kiddies the new season is underway and off to a great start! ASU played it's home and season opener against the Owls of Temple University and, well to put it lightly, raped them in the aunus! Final score ASU 63, Temple 11.
At half time, the score was only 23-2 ASU. It could have been better but a lead at the half is always something good. You can come out for the second half with a little bit of a cousion and relax enough to make your plays count instead of hastily trying to stay alive. The star of the game was Peoria High School's very own Keegan Harring. It was his first game as an Arizona State Sun Devil and he had 12 carries for 134 yards. The best start for a freshman running back since Woody Green against Houston back in 1971. He had 117 yards on 21 carries. So it's safe to say the Keegan blew that record out of the water! Harring also had a four yard touchdown run this game as well.
I couldn't be prouder of my school! A win like this also keeps us in the top 25. We went into tonights game ranked 20 and now we are at 18. We out rank UCLA and Cal. Also according to polls we are supposed to give USC a run for their money this year in Tempe. However, with the returning Heisman Trophy winner from last year we will just have to see about that. But I still have faith!
So I'm strapped in and ready for another great season. Next game is next week at LSU. I feel confident that will pull this one off. It won't be a blow like tonight, but I'm also a fan of really good football games too.
Until we meet again!!!
PS Some poll some where in the world has Arizona at 8. Who the fuck says that? I'll have to hunt them down and stab them in the testicles later.
