It was another brilliant episode and Cary looked really deteriorated.. just awesome acting.. I wish Matt was nominated for awards and it wasn't just Julianna as usual. He was impressive.
Must thank whoever wrote those scenes with the "teacher" for jail.. that was one of the best things ever on this show imho. They know how to mix humor and drama really well.
And I wish I had not been spoiled on Tumblr about Kalinda/Archie leaving.. now I'm always waiting to see how they get rid of her and that's the worst way to see a show and a character.
I hope Matt's being eating more since they wrapped this episode! He really killed this storyline, and I'd LOVE to see him with an Emmy nom for this season. Would be richly deserved.
And I thought it was a great mix of humour and drama too! It's grimly funny, but then Cary's throwing up in the bathroom and it breaks your heart. :((
Yeah, I think it was impossible not to get spoiled for Archie's departure. I saw it in the mainstream media. I do wish they'd kept it under wraps. I mean, they sat on Josh Charles' impending exit for a year and a half! It really does lessen my investment in her character since I know she's going.
He really has done a great job. Adore him so much, and I want happiness for Cary in the end. And yes, Eli! Alan is so perfect, and the daughter is a great addition. This show is just so damn good!

And then Eli, who just makes me laugh so much - and I love his daughter and how the two of them are together. Alan Cumming is so great.
