Burned through the rest of Band of Brothers on the weekend, and I'm rather disappointed in myself that it took me 10 whole years to watch this show. So, SO good. ADORED!
ADORED! Band of Brothers. My husband and I watched it when it aired on HBO (cried my eyes out at the end.) and then ran out and bought the box set DVDs. It's one of the BEST mini-series in the history of television. I wanted to go to Pennsylvania and look up the real Dick Winters to give him a HUGE hug when it ended!!
I didn't realize Fassbender was in it. Did YOU know that James McAvoy ALSO had a small role? Maybe that's why they have so much chemistry in X-men?!? <3

I wasn't even into gay fandoms at the time and I thought Ron Livingston and Damien Lewis were made for each other in that series. Such a perfect relationship on camera. I think Damien Lewis was really good friends with Ewan McGregor, if I'm not mistaken. It blew my mind when I found out he was British.
My Father served in the Army during WWII, he never wanted to talk about the horrors. My uncle was in the Marines in that unit that was focused on in "The Pacific". My cousin actually did an online blog series interviewing him each week when the series aired. He just passed away right after that.
Sorry for the ramble. Gist of it... BoB is definitely a MUST SEE! <3

Of course, he was hard to miss!
Damian's accent really was stellar. I was surprised Liebgott was Brit, too! They all did a fantastic job. Such an amazing series, and important, too. We can't forget these things.

By the way, while I was responding to this post, my kids are singing "Do Re Mi" in the next room. I laughed when I saw your icon. :)
