Strong and free
You would not believe how LOUD the screams of joy were yesterday when Canada won the hockey game in OT. It wasn't just from inside my building, but from other buildings and houses nearby. And since it's winter, windows are shut! But you could hear yelling and celebrating from everywhere in surround sound. It was very, very cool.
Such a perfect way to cap off what have been the best Winter Olympics ever (for me, at least). So many highlights of these Games and this weekend was fabulous with the golds in short track, curling, hockey, etc. I'm so proud that Canada won the most golds ever by one country! We may not have won the overall total, but our athletes did an incredible job. And despite the problems with weather and such, I think Vancouver did an incredible job, too. These Games were a big win across the board and I'm so proud to be Canadian.
So...what am I supposed to watch tonight?
