Seriously, how amazing is Dexter this season? So freaking amazing! I was on the edge of my seat this week.
A few episodes ago I was pondering what role the reporter would play this season since I knew she wasn't there just to develop Quinn's character. I was thinking she'd end up a victim in some way, and then something shiny appeared and I didn't think on it any further.
bliss_ totally called that Christine was the shooter a couple of weeks ago, and I realized as soon as she said it that she was right. But I still didn't guess WHY she shot Lundy and Deb (I didn't think about it because I like to be surprised), so when Arthur appeared at her door I was totally shocked. Man, I love it when a TV show can be so awesome.
I was so worried for the little boy this week!!! I was thinking that it would be very dark (even for this show) to kill him, but you never know. If I had to make a criticism it would be that the dark side of Arthur's interactions with his family happened rather suddenly, but it didn't make it less chilling. His "Shut up, cunt" at the dinner table was just...wow. Jaw-dropping. John Lithgow needs to clean off a space on his mantle for the best guest performer Emmy.
Also, I think I'm shipping Quinn and Deb just a little.
Oh, Globetrotters. I cannot believe they took a four-hour penalty!! There are not enough exclamation marks in the world!!!!!! I mean, just keep trying! It starts with "F" and you have the other letters -- there are not that many words it could be! What a crappy way to go out. The Amazing Editors tried to create some drama, but as soon as they took the four-hour penalty it was obvious they were out. Poor Big Easy. He's not the shiniest coin in the collection plate. Flight Time totally would have gotten it. He's one of my fave racers of all time. Just such a great guy all the way around.
I was very happy for Brian and Ericka, though. If they win it'll be because of luck, but I wouldn't mind. Brian is just a super nice guy and I love how much he and Ericka dig each other. She can be a princess, but I still like her.
I'd also be happy for Megan and Cheyne, since they've run a great race and I like them fine. I can't stand the brothers -- especially the one who welched on the deal with Big Easy to help each other. If you say you'll work together, then you're just a douche if you go back on that. Yes, it's a race, but it was still a dick move. And if I never have to hear the brothers berating each other again it will be too soon. The one guy (in the "College" shirt) seems okay, but that other one, oy. I can't believe those rabbis accepted the broken arm on the statue! That's bullshit, man. They should have had to go back and do it again.
