I went to see Mamma Mia on Sunday and loved it. Cheese of the highest order, and I savoured every bite. I thought the male singing voices were rather weak (every time Pierce Brosnan warbled out a few notes I was hoping the back-up singers would pop around the corner to help him out!), but whatever. It was fun, fun, fun. I loved seeing Amanda up there on the big screen with Meryl Streep. Oh, and Dominic Cooper has a hell of an agent for getting him billing above Amanda. Or perhaps he's a bigger star in jolly ol' England than he is here? Amanda had ridiculously low billing, although it was the same with Nikki Blonsky in Hairspray.
Meryl's so lovely. I just adore that woman.
Day for night indeed. Oh, the magic of filmmaking.

I think if I had to pick only one band in the world to be my favourite, it would be ABBA. I never, ever get tired of their songs.
p.s. I adore Christine Baranski. Every time I see her I think to myself, "Slipper socks, MEDIUM!"
