Sandra Lee: The devil incarnate of the Food Network; Miss "Semi-Homemade" whose idea of cooking is to make instant pudding, put it in a wine glass, and tie a ribbon around it; purveyor of cheap-ass toxic processed slop which she throws in the microwave and then goes out to buy tons of disposable made-in-China crap so she can clutter up the table and artfully arrange her nuked slop on it and pretend she's cooked something. Seriously, she epitomizes everything that's wrong with people's attitudes about food and cooking, which is something I consider to be something of a spiritual practice as well as an art form. Anyway, it seems she's a serious item with Andrew Cuomo, whom I'm probably going to have to vote for, which (if we're lucky, as a Republican governor would be a real disaster for NY) means she'll become Queen of the already atrocious Albany food scene.
