Le Fabuleux Destin de Grand Mal Chris B

Like my father's come to past
Seven years has gone so fast.
Wake me up when September ends.

Ah fuck, Gilligan's dead. :-(

The word of the day is cavil, an intransitive verb meaning "to raise trivial or frivolous objections" and "to find fault without good reason." It can also be used as a transitive verb or a noun. An example would be, "I spent a lot of time and effort writing a review of that movie for the message board on the internet. However, the effect was ruined when some cunt decided to cavil about my praise of the lead actor."

Yesterday was Labor Day. I used to hate Labor Day, but I loved it this year. A paid day off from work! Waking up late! The little cuntwads going back to school! Yay!!!! It's grand that they're going back, while I can go home at night and not say, "Oh shit, I can't watch Lost, I have homework!" (This is with all due respect to anyone reading here that is begrudgingly going back to school.)

I really liked the film Amelie.

I like...

How my room looks after its been cleaned and vacuumed.
The grainy appearence of exploitation films from the '70s.
Video box art from the early '80s.
Drinking a new soda for the first time.
The way my mouth tasted like liquorice after I smoked a cigarette.
The feeling of completion after finishing a long project.
Getting compliments.
Smelling the scented candles at work.
When a rock band works a piano in their song.
Girls with odd coloured hair.
Soft, fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies.
Getting mail (and not bills, fliers, junk mail, etc.)
Wearing a new shirt for the first time.
The eloquence of British people.
The scent of pumpkin.
Things that taste like mint.
Singing in the shower.
John Bradshaw Layfield.
Waking up in a good mood.
Glazed donuts.
Female rock singers.
Disgusting/offensive jokes and stories.
Bad jingles from '80s adverts.
Feeling superior to other people.
Saying the word "cunt."

QUESTION OF THE DAY: Which little things in life do you like?

This entry was written in front of a live studio audience.
