I hate the holidays, but I love self-checkout

so today I went to Wal-mart to finish up my Christmas shopping. It was pretty much what I expected; a bunch of crazy ass people running around looking for things for their bratty ass kids that'll probably forget about the presents a month from now. anyways, im in the self-checkout line and the guy in front of me is checking out. He was buying a pack of orbit gum with a debit card. As soon as he paid the screen flashes, like it always does, and says in bold letters "PLEASE TAKE YOUR ITEMS", he tries to buy one of those pre-roasted chickens you see near the entrance. The screen is flashing and the voice is telling him to take his item and he's getting frustrated because he can't understand why this machine isn't taking the chicken's barcode. He pretty much gets red in the face until he finally sees the screen. In a huff, he quickly grabs the gum in the bag and flings the bag holder across the isle on the floor. He got so pissed he walked away without even buying the chicken. heh, "i love computers, they make stupid people look even more stupid."
