Following up from the previous post regarding Fred Durst, as for mst of the last few years, I often hide away in music when things are not what I would like them to be.
It is nothing short of comfort and escapism, and for the precious few minutes I spend in a song I feel like I'm with someone else who understands.
Albums of the moment...
When I'm feeling quiet and want to lose myself:
Innuendo [Queen]
(Truth Crushed To Earth Shall) Rise Again [House Of Pain]
Absolution [Muse]
In Utero [Nirvana]
When I'm not in the best of moods:
Three Dollar Bill, Y'all$ [Limp Bizkit]
The Marshall Mathers LP [Eminem]
The Battle Of Los Angeles [Rage]
When I'm thoughtful:
Showbiz [Muse]
Whitey Ford Sings The Blues [Everlast]
Songs About Jane [Maroon 5]
MTV Unplugged [Nirvana]
I dare anyone to download a single song from one of these albums.
Not that I'm promoting downloading...
