I was facing the possibility of a C-Section yesterday for a big baby (and may still get that option) but I think my partner and I would like to try for a natural birth (I have a consultant Obstetrican appointment next week to discuss options further and a scan in 4 weeks to check the baby's size etc ( Read more... )

She was born June 2nd 2008 after 2 1/2 days of active labor and finaly deliverd as a c- section!. shes a big healthy loud baby!

I feel a lot of pressure on my c-section scar. Is this normal? For some reason in my negative mind I think my scar is going to bust open and i'm going to rupture. LOL =/ I hope it's normal and i'm not freaking out for no reason. I am trying to VBAC btw.

I had my OB visit earlier this week, and I found out some not so good news.  He'd prefer if I'd decide to schedule a c section and not attempt a VBAC.  The baby is measuring a week ahead, and since I have a history of gestational diabetes(and failed my 1 hour) he's worried she'll get too big.  So I now have two choices...  I can take the three hour ( Read more... )
