Queen Bee: part 1

Nov 09, 2009 17:17

I've been wanting to try out the Queen Bee Challenge for a while now, seeing as breeding my sims is my favourite thing. radiationpoison has been doing this recently and some of the kidlets are so cute! So, before I blither on far too much in my introduction - let's just get on with it :)

Meet our Queen Bee - Abee Keeper. I crack myself up.

Our first Worker is brilliantcat 's delicious Wesley. He's already in my regular 'hood as a townie but I love him so much I couldn't wait to breed him up.

Abee: "You'll ever guess what it is she wants us to do.... We have to do *mouths* The Sex."

Wesley & Abee: *are twelve*

I think Wesley already knew what he'd signed up for, y'know.

Or maybe not.

Anyway. After initially declaring her Worker to be repulsive, Abee soon got over herself and got down to business.

You know the kind of *ahem* business we mean.

*Bingly-bingly-bong*

Yes, they have two beds. I got them a spare just in case they didn't hit it off so well. I really needn't have bothered.

Next morning.

Abee: "It's OK, I think the morning sickness has stopped."

Abee: *throws up in mouth*

Spoke too soon. Blergh.

Like I said, I don't think I need to worry about these two not getting on. At this rate getting 6 kids out of them is going to be a cakewalk!

Mmmmm cake.... *is distracted*

3...2...1....

I would hate to disappoint and not show Abee doing all the things any self respecting pregnant sim should be doing.

And considering the pancakes obviously taste like arse, maybe sleeping on them isn't such a bad alternative to eating.

*Pop-a-doodle-doo*

The first of many and I caught the coveted pink dust!

Now I would like to bring you the Three Stages of Pregnancy, courtesy of Abee Keeper.

Stage one: Elation.

Abee: "OMFG" :D

Stage two: Confusion.

Abee: "OMF....G?" o.O

Stage three: Indigestion. Or something like that.

Abee: "OMFFFFFFFFFFFGGGGGGGGGG" D:

Our first born of the challenge is a girl, Elena. Now's the time to mention my naming theme: each worker's children will be named after characters in some of my favourite books (picking just 10 is going to be enough of a challenge in itself I can tell you) and Wesley's lot are from Stephen Donaldson's The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant, the Unbeliever trilogy. Elena has a tan skin, and Wesley's hair and eyes.

Also - points to Abee for co-ordinating her underwear with the fridge and baby bottle :)

No points to Wesley for adding his own foul stench to that of his daughter.

Ball of stink is coming to geeeeeeet yoooooooou!

Our little Elena grows up.

I think I'd keep my eyes tight shut in fear if my Dad was a) getting jiggy with my Mum on the sofa and b) impaling me through the head with his foot, too.

Wesley, please mind where your appendages are going. Ahem.

Potty face! Plus, Maxis undies means Abee's expecting again. Hardly surprising as I can't keep her and Wesley apart.

Altogether now: Oh holy shit. Wesley, don't be such a wuss.

TWINS. Should make the overall challenge a little "easier" at least. A boy - Korik. He has Wesley's eyes, Abee's hair and a new skintone that I completely forgot I'd got the geneticised version of! Still, I think he looks cute - you can see the pattern on the back of his noggin.

Another boy - Bannor. Dark skin, green eyes, brown hair all from Wesley. 3 kids down, 3 to go!

A short and sweet introduction for you! I shall have more later in the week if the electrician I have coming round tomorrow doesn't fry my motherboard.
