Orientation and The Midwest!

Well I've been out of town for a week now and it has gone fairly quickly. We drove 26 hours to Cedar Rapids and stayed with my grandma for a few days while my mom got a condo. My cousin Erica whom I usually hang with in the ole CR was in Chicago for the weekend so I was sooo bored. All I did was sleep, eat, and read. She came back and we went to part of a ball game, then went to Hog Wild Days in town and saw fireworks and set some off with a few cowboys. After that we really just hung around at her friends house for awhile.

My mom and I left for Columbia, Missouri the next morning and I had my two day orientation. It was sooo fast paced I was exhausted, kind of still am, actually. Today was day two, but it was a shorter day. They had this really funny skit show called Revue that the Summer Welcome Leaders put on. Makes me want to be one! There were a few cute boys, nothing to write home about! Got my supercool powerbook which I'm using right now. I've never been a mac person but it is pretty much kickass. Had my Greek life seminar thing and also filled out the rest of my schedule, for a total of 15 hours, but only like four real classes. So, its all good... We drove down to Rolla today and here I am, bored once again and will be looking for a house for my dad over the next day or two.

Really excited for college now.. Go Mizzou!
