A Euro Lottery Ticket in England costs £2.50 a spin...this morning i went to the local supermarket to have the ticket i bought for my 69th birthday checked...the nice juicy crone on the till slipped the ticket in the machine...a tiny Char-Ching noise told me i had won....i did not expect Millions of Pound notes to come fluttering down from the ceiling just the usual £3.90 pence or a few hunderd to help in keeping warm this winter and not stand staring gasping at the gas meter....we both laughed at the £2.70 pence winnings which means i won 20 pence..which will not even buy you a cheeky bar of chocolate....quite why i thought of my childhood in that moment is unknown as in my childhood 20 pence was a wow pocket money...however today i slipped the 20 pence into my panties left the supermarket both moaning and laughing in the same breath as thinking Bollocks. But hey the sun was shinning.
