List of all the shows I've been watching and a little (LOL! Yeah, right...) review for everyone of them. Do you think this is gonna get long? HA! YOU HAVE NO IDEA! (in alphabetical order because I'm an order freak cool like that)
30 Rock
This show is awesome. Hands down. It cracks me up and I absolutely love almost every character. I've enjoyed so much this season. Jack is just awesome beyond words and I love Liz, and Kenneth, and Jenna, and Tracy... I don't even know what else to say about this show except that it never disappoints me and I find it intelligent, witty and so original. Love it. The whole "Future husband" stuff was hilarious, the guy was so damn annoying but funny at the same time, haha. And Jack is gonna be a father, that was unexpected! I ship him with Liz, which I know is silly and won't ever happen, but I can't help it! Anyway, I can't wait to see Jack dealing with paternity, it's gonna be so much fun!
Castle
OH MY I LOVE THIS SHOW! (that's me being all excited about a new show, yay!) I've never thought I would watch a show about crimes and stuff (I tend to avoid them all) but I watched the pilot and immediately felt in love with Castle, and Beckett, and Castle&Beckett. He's so damn funny, and she's so great at keeping him at bay... or trying xD I love Esposito and Ryan (they're like the cuttest guys on Earth, hands down) and how they ship Castle&Beckett too, haha. I love Castle's mom and daughter (she's the cuttest girl ever!) and I love how much Castle loves them. I love how Castle is breaking down Beckett's walls, and how Beckett is changing the way Castle used to see women (well, sort of) What I don't like is this new character, Tom (I had to look up his name because I call him Anders, LOL! What? He was Anders in BSG. I didn't like him in BSG and don't like him in Castle, the male version of Lana Lang to me xD Okay, maybe not that bad) but I guess that's over now (I hope!) The finale has broken my heart into tiny pieces. Now that I was all "OMG, Yay! Beckett is breaking up with Anders!Tom because she knows she likes Castle" Castle goes and brings his ex-wife/editor and breaks Beckett's (and mine!) heart. *slaps Castle* Stop messing around you pretty people, and get together once and for all! I can't wait for the next season. I miss them already!
Chuck
I'm not really into this show. I mean, I watch it and like it, but I'm not crazy about it. Sometimes it's so dumb I find myself rolling my eyes like crazy (like that time with the british secret agent, a ripoff of James Bond, and I don't even like Bond *rolleyes just thinking about it again*), but normally it's fun, and sweet, and really good. I hated that I had to see "Lana" on this show too. Really. I thought: "Okay, Laura, maybe it was just the character she played in Smallville. Maybe you will actually like her in this show." Didn't happen. I hated her in this show too. I actually didn't find any mayor differences between her character here and Lana. And then, talking about "Superman", there he was, the one from the movie, being all "I'm hot and maybe baddie too". Didn't like him in the movie (I actually despise the movie with a passion) and didn't like him here. But you know what I did love? SCOTT BAKULA! OMG, SCOTT BAKULA! *flails and hugs him* Love him. He's so damn funny and crazy and just awesome. About Chuck and Sara, well, I do ship them together, but sometimes they make it very hard. One day they're with other girlfriends/boyfriends and the next they swear they're soulmates. Actually there's an episode where Sara kisses Superman (totally forgot his character's name here) and Chuck IN THE SAME EPISODE! Make up your mind, people. My favourite character is Morgan, and then Casey, and then them together because they're so much fun to watch!
Community
One of the surprises of this year. I wanted to watch it because it was a comedy and I'm all about comedies, but I didn't expect to like it as much as I did. I've laughed so much with this show (oddly, always at a Pierce's comment) that I actually cried and had to stop the episode because the tears wouldn't let me see the screen. I love the characters, all of them. I was starting to fell a little bit in love with Jeff but then the mess in the romantic department started and I cooled off. I mean, Britta ignores Jeff but kisses him. Then Annie also kisses him. Then Britta gets a boyfriend, Jeff gets a girlfriend, Britta breaks up with his boyfriend, Jeff breaks up with his girlfriend, Annie dates Britta's ex-boyfriend, Britta and Jeff have sex, Jeff's ex-girlfriend wants to get him back, Britta tells Jeff that she loves him (WTF? That was so OOC for Britta!), Jeff freaks out and finally, Annie and Jeff make out. All this in just one season! So yeah, the show fails in the love department but makes me laugh. I can live with that.
Covert Affairs
A rip-off of Alias. Didn't like that they were trying to copy my show (yes, Alias is mine, thank you for asking) and didn't like the cast (that girl from that movie "Coyote Ugly"? No, thank you. And Henry from Ugly Betty? Hell, no!) and... yeah, didn't like it at all. I found it unoriginal and quite corny.
Eastwick
Watched only the pilot because my aunt told me I would like it (don't even know why she thought that, maybe because SHE liked it) Didn't like anything about it except for the baddie character "Daryl Van Horne" (yeah, I looked that up. You weren't expecting me to remember the name of a character from a show I didn't like, were you?) but that wasn't reason enough to watch this show.
Eureka
Yay that the show is back, but boo to the whole time travelling storyline. The only thing I like about the whole mess that these two first episodes of season four have created is that now we get to enjoy seeing Baltar (from BSG, I don't know the actor's name, sorry) in the show. I like that, and I also like that Allison' son is no longer autistic, and we have Sheriff Andy again! But I don't like that we have to put up with Tess again, and Jo and Zane are no longer together (and my poor Jo is hurting *hugs her*) and Fargo is the director of GD *doesn't like Fargo*. But well, we'll see how everything turns out.
Firefly
This basically deserves a post of its own, but I guess it'll be fine to put it here. I'd heard about the show (only the name, actually) but I had no idea what was about. Then, when I run out of shows (LOL! Yeah, that happened to me! It was the most scary second of my life), I went to check it out and found out that the cast included Nathan Fillion (Castle!), Morena Baccarin (Anna from V!), Gina Torres (Anna Espinosa from Alias!) and Adam Baldwin (Casey from Chuck!) so I just HAD to watch it. It was a very original show. A mix between modern and old. It was cruel sometimes (with some torture stuff here and there) and I wasn't very fond of River and his brother (it was kind of annoying sometimes the way she got the crew into troubles, not that she could help it, but still) but the show was also sweet, and funny and amazing most of the time. I felt in love with Mal&Inara immediately (God, they're so good together!) and I also loved Kaylee (ha, she's awesome, loved the way she was around the doctor), and loved the relationship between Zoe and Wash. This was one of those shows I'm pretty sure I would have become completely addicted to. Too bad it got cancelled. And I know this is not the place to talk about the movie (because I should make a movie's post) but... WTF, SERENITY? They killed off Wash! WHAT THE FUCK? It was awful. It was a movie made for the fans, as a closure, and they killed off Wash? WHAT THE FUCK, SERENITY? I will never forgive the writters for that. Really. I want a resurrection. I demand a resurrection. And while you're at it, go and resurrect the Father too. No killing the crew in this show, that should have been completely forbidden! Aside from that, I liked the whole River storyline in Serenity way better than in the show, I guess because we got to see why she was the way she was. That was awesome. And I loved that Kaylee got her doctor, haha, that was awesome too. But... WTF, SERENITY? (no, I'm not talking about Wash this time, even if I should because it was so awful that I'm still shocked and sad and furious) Mal and Inara don't even share a kiss in the movie!!! MY SHIPPER HEART IS BROKEN AT THIS MOMENT! We deserved a full make out session, thank you very much. They're too awesome for words and I wanted them to be together. Why, movie, oh, why so evil? I want the show back, and Wash and the Father resurrected, and I want Mal and Inara together *goes to look for a Mal&Inara moodtheme* Ah, Firefly, why did you have to get cancelled? *weeps*
Fringe
I've LOOOOOOVED this season. The whole "parallel worlds" stuff was so intriguing and exciting. Loved the musical episode, so so awesome. Now, I have to admit, I didn't want to ship anyone in this show (yeah, I failed at that, mission impossible I'd say) because it's written by J.J. Abrams, and we all know (we, the people who've seen basically everything he's written) that he's not very good with pairings (Felicity? Alias? Lost????) He looooves love triangles (really, he should get that checked, I don't think it's normal) so he basically breaks my heart every single time. But, as I said, I failed at the whole "don't you dare to ship anyone" thing. I ship Peter and Olivia but, I have to say, they're terrible kissers! I was hoping for a kiss since God knows when (because God is known for having a better memory than me) and when I finally got it, it was very meh *sadface* I hope they work on that. And OMG, that finale was so *JUMPS IN TOTAL EXCITEMENT* We need our Olivia back or I'll have a heart attack, seriously. I don't even like the other one! (kudos to the actress for making me hate her version 2.0 while loving the 1.0 one) At least we got to see Charlie again! *misses him*
Glee
To be honest, the only reason why I keep watching this show is because of the music. But I don't like the storylines nor most of the characters. I hate Mr. Schuester. He swears he's in love with Emma, then freaks out when she confesses she's still a virgin (was that really a surprise? But if you really loved her, would it really matter?) and then goes and makes out with Rachel's mom. Way to go, Schuester! *stabs him in the heart so he would feel as much pain as Emma* I find Rachel annoying, always complaining about how bad people treat her. I have yet to see her REALLY caring about someone other than herself.. or someone she doesn't have a crush on. I mean, she's the best singer (and the duets with her mom? Wow!) and I admire her determination but she still whines too much when I think she's the best treated one in the entire group (and in the entire show, really). I'm a bit meh about the rest of the characters. Sometimes I'd think I like this or that one but then he/she goes and does something that annoys/bores me. Oh, except for Sue Sylvester. I adore her and her crazyness. And the actress is a vegan (I just found out last month!) Yay for that! Anyway, I still like the music so I'll pretend that's all this show is about.
Greek
I don't know what they're doing to Cappie and Casey. We've reached a point where I'm not even sure I want them together anymore (nah, I do) because there's so much drama everywhere! I really hope they fix this whole mess now that the next season is probably gonna be the last one. I don't give a damn about Rusty (never did, to be honest), or Evan (even if I kinda liked him with Rebecca), I just want my Cappie to be happy at the end. Oh, and Ashleigh, I want her to be happy too. And Rebecca, probably.
How I Met Your Mother
Didn't specially liked this season. But I haven't really loved the show lately. *shrugs* I still like it, and I still laugh (or maybe just smile) with this or that. And I still think Barney is the best character, but that's more or less about it.
Hannah Montana
I bet you never thought you'd find this show on the list, LOL! I like it. It's fun. I like Hannah, and Lilly, and Jackson (sometimes), and Rico.. and I can live with the rest. And when I thought it was over (I thought season three was the last season) I've heard they're gonna make a fourth one. I was okay at the show getting cancelled but I don't mind getting more episodes.
Haven
I liked the pilot a lot. I don't know if it was because of the whole weather stuff (give me some wind and you get me hooked) or because I really liked the characters (the leading ones, at least) but I really liked it. We'll see.
Heroes
I have mixed feelings about the last season. I was bored to death at the beginning but really into it at the end. T-Bag (sorry, I don't remember his character's name in this show) was still creepy, and things were all messed up, but it got interesting at the finale. I think Heroes always was good at finales. It got cancelled, and I don't think I'm gonna miss it much, maybe a bit.
Hot in Cleveland
An old-fashioned show with a 90's vibe on it, but I find it cute and nice and funny. I like most of the characters [so much love for Betty White, and Wendie Malick (my Nina, in "Just Shoot Me!"), and Jane Leeves (Daphne in "Frasier"!)] and it's not the best or funniest show ever, but it gets me entertained enough.
House M.D.
Buff, I don't even know where to start. Loved the cases, hated how they developed the whole Cuddy&House relationship. And I ship them together! But their relationship was so damaged this season. Cuddy with Lucas (I actually think they put names into a bag and picked up the first one that came out of it, then decided that was going to be the new Cuddy's boyfriend) and Cuddy pretty much being a total bitch with House (I'm not saying he doesn't deserve it, though). Too much drama. And talking about drama, I hate Taub with a passion. He's a jerk who doesn't deserve his wife. And he's not even handsome in any way, not in the outside, not in the inside. He doesn't deserve his wife! (or any other, for that matter) Glad that the relationship between 13 and Boredom (I mean, Foreman) is over. I kinda ship 13 and Chase now. Oh, I'm loving Chase so much now, and it was one of my least favourite characters at the beginning. And talking about least favourite characters, I didn't find Cameron as annoying as I usually do but won't miss her either. You know whom do I still miss? Kutner. *sigh* Anyway, back to House and Cuddy. The last episode seemed pretty much like a rerun of season four finale, but whatever. Suddenly Cuddy breaks up with Lucas and goes back to House's arms. When did that happen and why? I'm highly confused at this point. Don't get me wrong, I love them together, I just want to know why Cuddy (who was about to move in with Lucas) suddenly decides that she's gonna throw everything through the window and try again with House. Another character that needs to make up her mind.
Huge
Not sure about this show yet. I watched it because Gina Torres was on it, and because I wanted to know how they're gonna treat the girls and the whole "fat" stuff. But so far, no one has said that being fat is not a crime, and the show is so full of drama that it kinda upsets me, so I'm not sure I'll keep watching. We'll see.
Legend of the Seeker
There has to be a season 3. That's all I'm saying. This show is the most amazing show ever (okay, maybe not the "most" but quite close to it, veeeeery very close) I need more Richard, and Kahlan, and Cara, and Rahl, and Nicci (now that she's basically awesome) and I don't need more Zedd but I don't want to get rid of him either, as long as he goes and cockblocks someone other than Richard and Kahlan. Seriously, the last episode of the season was so damn good. I need MOOOOAR! And the people in this fandom are so great. Season 3 of Legend of the Seeker now! (please) *hugs my pretty show*
Leverage
I'm so happy my show is back! I'm liking the season so far but I don't like the whole Parker/Hardison stuff. One thing is the flirting and teasing of the OT3 (Hardison/Parker/Eliot) but the writters are kinda showing us Parker and Hardison as a couple, which kills all the fun for me, because to me they have the same chemistry that two cousins, maybe less. I like Eliot&Parker better because they're opposite poles, she loves to drive Eliot crazy and Eliot likes rolling his eyes at her and pretending he doesn't like the fact that she's crazy. I loved that scene this season when Parker decides to stay in that building to finish the job on her own, and Eliot shows up two seconds later to help her. I just love them together. I don't want them to be a couple or something (I wouldn't mind but it would honestly be weird to see Parker in any relationship, she's too cool to have a boyfriend, haha) I just want the looks, the jokes, the banter.. and now that the writers are making clear that they're exploring the Hardison/Parker territory I'm getting less and less of the Parker&Eliot one. And I don't think is fair, they are an OT3 after all! But well, I guess I'll have to asume that my ship is not popular and just enjoy the show without shipping anyone (LOL, right, as if...) I still have Nate and Sophie to ship, though xD Anyway, I love this show, I love every single character and I love the stories and... I love it all.
Life Unexpected
Sometimes I want to punch the leading characters in the face, but I love Lux, and it's a nice show, and I kinda ship Cate and Baze. But I also adore Ryan. And I kinda hate Cate (I hated her in Roswell too *shrugs*) Anyway, I'm glad it got renewed. I really like the show.
Monk
I'm not finding the show as funny as I used to (maybe because I last watched it 6 years ago?) but it's still funny enough, and I love the way Monk resolves the crimes. And I adore Sharona. I know she's not gonna stay in the show for long (I'm already dreading the moment she won't be in the show anymore and we'll have a "replacement". I'm telling myself I'm gonna like the new girl too, but.. I don't know. I love Sharona!) but I'm enjoying it while I still have Monk and Sharona together.
Parenthood
One of the many shows I've tried this year. I only checked it out because Lauren Graham was on it, but the show reminded me of "Brothers and Sisters" and I didn't like it. Too much drama and broken relationships for my taste. Only watched the pilot.
Party Down
Only watched the pilot, and it seemed endless despite being only 20 minutes long. Didn't like it at all. I found it weird (and not in a funny way, more in a messy/wtf way) and boring.
Phineas and Ferb
I'm completely in love with this show. I think it goes right after "The Simpsons". The kids are funny, and cute, and so great at inventing exciting and weird stuff. I LOVE Perry the Platypus and Doofenshmirtz (OMG, I've cried of so much laughing with this one) and I adore Candace. She's so awesome, so crazy, so much fun! And when she's with Jeremy.. awww, so cute! I love everything about this show: the storylines, the characters, the music. I actually got the OST and listen to it whenever I'm feeling down. It cheers me up immediately.
Pretty Little Liars
This was one of those shows I had to force myself not to watch. It's a mix between Gossip Girls and Desperate Housewives, except that those shows are better, and I'm no longer watching any of them. Let's just say that they almost got me hooked on the whole: "Who the hell is "A"?" but then realized that aside from that mystery I didn't like absolutely anything about the show. So yeah, I'm not watching it.
Psych
YAY THAT MY GUYS ARE BACK! Gosh, I've missed them so much. I've loved this first episode. Everyone trying to get Juliet to go back to solve cases. Shawn being Shawn, Gus being Gus. That outtake of James talking to Maggie and pretending to be the guy in the Old Spice commercial. Hahaha, hilarious! LOVE THIS SHOW!
Robin Hood
Finally got to watch it. I could have saved the time. Didn't like it at all. The new Robin was dark, and, as I thought, the blonde girl (totally forgot her name) wanted to get into his pants (poor Much, he never gets the girl), and Isabella? (Guy's sister) wanted to be there too. And Robin didn't seem to mind all the attention and actually seemed to like it quite much. And yeah, Robin and Marian get reunited (in death, but whatever) in the end, but two episodes ago he was kissing some other girl so I did't get a loving vibe of the whole thing. I think I'm going to pretend Robin Hood got cancelled right after episode 2x11 and Robin and Marian are living happily in the forest. Lalalala...
Rubicon
Read the plot for this show and thought it was going to be interesting. Forty minutes of my life I will never get back. It was so damn boring! So damn boring that I watched it last month and I already forgot what happened in the pilot.
Rules of Engagement
Only watched the pilot.. and it was enough. I found the show sexist (women want to control men and men just want to chill out and drink a beer) and boring. Watched it because David Spade was on it (Finch in "Just Shoot Me!") but I found the show annoying.
Smallville
To be honest I haven't liked this season all that much. The plot was just plain missing. Zod is creepy, really, he knows nothing about personal space and always looks like he's gonna eat Clark's mouth (I don't blame him, at all xD) Lois and Clark as a couple has been a bit forced sometimes (even though no matter what I always want to see them together), there was too little banter for my taste (I MISS THE BANTER!) and too much "I can't tell you this or that so we basically spent two seconds together and then go and do something else" The only think I did like was Chloe and Oliver (YAY!) but I'm still mad we didn't get to see how they got together. There is so much going on in Offscreenville that sometimes I think Onscreenville is the spin-off and Offscreenville is the real show. Anyway, I loved the finale (but Smallville almost never disappoints me on finales) and I loved that Lois knew that it was Clark. OMG, that moment was... ahhhhhh!!! I JUST LOVE THEM TOGETHER SO MUCH! Ahem. I can't wait for next season. Hopefully the writers won't be using haikus as scripts? Yes? More plot and less whooshing! And more Clois, and more Chloe and Oliver (there's a name for that?). And I don't mind Zod as long as someone teaches him about personal space. I don't really care about Tess but I won't complain if she's back, I guess. Oh, my. This got longer than expected, LOL!
The Big Bang Theory
I'm glad Leonard and Penny are no longer together. I don't like Leonard. I'm sorry (not really) but it's true. I actually ship Penny with Sheldon (oh, Sheldon, why always so awesome? *adores him*) because they're just hilarious whenever they get together. And I'm finding myself liking Wolowitz more and more. Still a bit indifferent about Koothrappali, though. Anyway, I still love this show to bits.
The Good Wife
I couldn't get past the pilot. I loved Juliana in ER but didn't like her character here, neither liked the plot or anything, really.
Ugly Betty
This last season hasn't been as good as the previous ones in my opinion. I love Amanda, and Marc, and Wilhelmina, and Betty's family (loved Hilda's new boyfriend too!), except for Betty. I don't like her all that much. And I hate Henry, I don't know why but I find him really annoying. Anyway, the only reason why I'm sad that it got cancelled is because of Amanda and Marc. They should get a show of their own.
Unnatural History
I don't even know why I watched this pilot. I guess I was bored and was looking for anything remotely interesting to watch. This wasn't it. Boring and a rip-off of another million shows (like "Relic Hunter" or something, and I didn't even like that one). Something I would watch on TV while doing something else. *shrugs*
V
I'm still trying hard not to compare this show with the previous version because I liked the old one better. But there's a lot of things I like about this show. I love Anna (SHE CREEPS ME OUT SO MUCH SOMETIMES! *adores her in a weird way*), and I adore Joshua (and now I ship him with Lisa, haha, I'm so weird sometimes), and I kinda like this new character, Hobbes, and ship him with Erica, whom I still find kinda boring (not as boring as Father Jack, though) but I'm liking her a bit more now. I still hate Tyler, though. God, he's so damn annoying. And Chad has disappointed me, I was expecting more from this character. Anyway, the season finale was awesome and I can't wait to see what's gonna happen next.
Warehouse 13
Didn't get past the pilot (a very long one, btw). Didn't like the characters nor the way the idea (which I thought was good) of a huge store of weird and supernatural stuff was developed in the show. I've heard they're gonna air it here in Spain, I might give it another try if I don't have anything else to watch. But I have to be very bored, really.
Edit to add "Leverage" I can't believe I forgot to add it to the list. *slaps herself* All fixed now =D
