biche / beesh / n ~ female deer. used as a street chat-up line in the "hello gorgeous" sense. - Biche by Stephanie Theobald
Felt rather mortified during my escapade to the mall. Shall describe scenario - me walking in cut-off jeans and purple flip-flops with gawdy purple orchids attached while carrying a packet of raw salmon which I picked up at the supermarket. And darling April with her flavour of the week walking pass me in hazardously-high stilettos. First, let it be known that I don't hate anyone and that I find it extremely hard to dislike people. April, however, is a whole different story. I could go into details but really, I couldn't be bothered. A sprinkle of carefully chosen nouns and adjectives will do just fine. Bitch. Dumped friend. Two-faced. Slut. Literally. Enough said.
Anyway, I picked up the book I've wanted for some time. Its catchy title, Biche and funky front cover caught my eye. They say never judge a book by its cover but how else then to randomly choose one? Anyhow, I've read the first quarter of the book and its hilarity has a lot to do with sex. It's bitchy and it's crude. I like it.
Midnight discovery: You know what I f'ing hate? The tiny, red ants that are swarming my computer desk. What the hell are they doing here?!
