road trip
took an overnight road trip to see them people who love me. brother, sister, and nieces and nephews. damn if it didn't feel good to go out to the country and see the stars and smell the orange blossoms. even the ping of inherent sadness that comes with the place was welcomed by my soul. I'm not really sure if I was lost or found by this little excursion but I don't feel the same and that was the goal. now for the real vacation starting on thursday...
