I haven't been feeling so good and it's been randomly raining on and off since last night. I was supposed to go to the Modest Mouse show last night, and when I got off the subway it was pouring down rain. After walking four blocks in it, I was cold, drenched, and not in the mood. So I told Francine to sell my ticket and I was going back. She thought I was crazy and I may just be that, but I don't regret my decision. I had a great night of talking to people I care about and hanging out with Jill and Heather. They both left today and I took Heather to JFK airport this morning at 6:30am. I think she really appreciated it. Anyway, Carrie comes in about a week and a half and I needed to know how to get there on the subway. I'm actually quite excited about her being here. I can't wait!
Today I just plan on staying indoors. The weather is all screwed up, and I just don't feel like doing anything outside. Plus, I might be tempted to spend money which I can not do.
I think all this walking and eating more salads than usual is making me lose weight. My pants aren't fitting properly anymore. It's rather frustrating because I just want a pair that fits!! Maybe I'll go find one today... after all I said about not spending money! Random information for you all, but that's what I'm good for!
Tomorrow I will be spending time with Sharon and Nicole Quenelle. For those of you who have not met these wonderful people, they would be my mom's best friend and her daughter. I've known them since I was 8. And I just found out that my Dad and sister will be arriving in New York on October 1st - 3 days after Carrie arrives. It'll be nice to have them all here. I'm going to love it. And in two short months I will be back in California for four day enjoying my Thanksgiving, my family, my friends, my dog, and hopefully Mexican food.
