What a beautiful day! I think a 60-degree high is virtually unheard of in Long Island in the middle of January. I spent the morning walking around Huntington Village, where there are dozens of antique shops, galleries, boutiques, bakeries and restaurants. For lunch I had Chicken Caesar Salad Pizza. Yes, dear friends, salad on a pizza! Crazy, I know, but also delicious. I wanted to take a picture of it, but thought that everyone in Rosa's Pizza would find that more than a little odd. After picking up my brother and sister from school we drove all the way south to the ocean! It was so pretty on a day like today. I think I have some sort of obsession with large bodies of water, so maybe that's why Long Island suits me alright. Anyway, I felt like posting because it's been a good day, but I can't help thinking it would have been better if I had been able to take all of you with me. I miss you.
