Yes, I can say with much certainty that I know how you feel.

I have some friends in Allston that have a room to rent in a big, nice house (though not as nice as your current place). Cat and geek friendly.

And if you think we could all handle it, being older and more mature now (ha ha ha)... perhaps we could look for a place together.
