Today I took an adventure into the unknown. Have you ever wondered if you exist on some other dimension, where things are the same, but different? To better explain what I'm talking about I would encourage you to watch the tv show "Sliders" or the movie "The One." Maybe in this other dimension you have another name.
Which brings me to my adventure. I went through the line in Teryaki(sp?) Stix today and when I purchased my food they asked me what name I wanted on the order. They didn't ask for my name, so I said Steve. The cashier said "Ok Steve we'll get that for you right away." And thus began my new identity adventure. After waiting a minute a young lady called out my name, Steve, to tell me my order was ready. Nobody thought anything was strange or unusual, and I got a taste of what my life would be like if my name was Steve.
I want to try this experiment further with some other names, I really want to try Kevin out. After that I want to try things a little more different. I could use the name "Fuego" or "Pinky." It will be interesting to see if the cashier will react in an abnormal way, or if they'll just go on as if nothing happened. I'll post more on this later I'm sure.
